No vehicle can go further than the Piazzale Roma in Venice. From here, there are only narrow alleys and canals.
From Piazzale Roma, you either walk to your accommodation, or take a Vaporetto (water bus) of the public transport system.

ACTV is the name of the public transport service in Venice itself. It operates the buses from Marco Polo Airport to Venice and the Vaporetto water buses in Venice.
You don’t have to follow a fixed schedule. After your flight lands, walk through the small reception hall to the exit of the airport building and take the waiting bus. Expect it to take passengers to Venice every 10 minutes.
